Spotted Circus Lion

The Spotted Circus Lions are one of two variants of the now extinct Circus Lion.
Behavior and Observations
----------------------------------------------------------------
- They are very fond of humans. They actively seek places near water that have a lot of people, and even seem to be aware of how fragile the human body is, as it has been observed to move more carefully when there are children around.
- They really like beach balls. Most families in the village have a beach ball to bring to the beach and watch them play around.
- They are very expresive when it comes to expressing their happiness. When a spotted sea lion is happy, it will flap its front flippers and make a cheerful honk.
- They are capable of detecting potentially dangerous or toxic sea specimens and prevent humans from getting close to them. In some cases, they prevent children from swimming too far away from the seashore and getting lost in the sea.
- They live almost exclusively in shallow waters, but have been observed to be able to swim in the deep ocean.
- The "party hat" they wear is actually a horn. The ruff in their necks is a sack of air they use to float.
- Very fond of Striped Clown Lions. They often attempt to hug them whenever they see one.
Personal Notes
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably one of the most well-liked species in the island. So many parents in the village told me stories about how a spotted lion saved their children/elderly family members from drowning or getting hurt. The ones i've seen in person were super nice and cute too.
Oddly enough, i've noticed they seem to be scared of cats?
