What is this?

The Wonderland Archive is an art project where i (not alice) make up creatures and write notes about them under the Alice character. most of these creatures were sketched and conceptualized by me and my friends. this is sorta like a way to archive the designs we made, because some of them are pretty cool i think. Apart from that, im also learning html so i thought it would be a fun experiment to make a webpage.
Although the character running this blog in universe is supposed to be a professional, i am not :'] there may be some inconsistencies and this is in no way supposed to reflect real world biology or photography or magical creatures or whatever
This whole project was very heavily inspired by Home Safety Hotline by Night Signal Entertainment. one of my absolute favorite games of all time. The human characters and a few entries were inspired by the Alice in Wonderland book.
The 3D art of all the creatures is made by me, and the backgrounds are all taken from Pexels :]
In case you were wondering, all these characters/creatures are perfectly fine to make your own stuff from them!! i would love to see fanart or ocs or new creatures or new observations. unfortunately i dont have many social medias, but if youd like to share you could post them on tumblr with some sort of tag (#wonderlandarchive or stuff like that) and maybe i could find it(kinda goes without saying but stealing/passing them as your own is not allowed)
How often are updates?

It really depends. I have really bad art blocks very often and cant come up with anything to write/draw but i still try my best to keep making things. I decided to get rid of the weekly schedule because i am really bad at dealing with deadlines, they usually just kill my inspiration anyways so.. for now updates will be random/whenever i finish writing entries
TWA: Director's Insight

Director's Insight is a project I have in mind for the future of this site (probs after vol. 3 is finished). I will make small logs talking about the creation process, inspirations, notes, scrapped ideas or any other fun things i might wanna add to the creatures of the Wonderland Island that would not make much sense to add in the lore!!! Vol. 3 will be the end of the main storyline i have planned, but that does not mean it will be the end of the project, i have many many more ideas i wanna fully realize before it concludes!! :]
